  2. Ans 2. I agree, upto higher secondary languages are made compulsory for each and every child. But later in higher qualification languages are not getting adequate attention, the focus is on the specialised subjects. Due to this now a days children are facing lot of problem while talking and writing.

    1. I totally agree with pranali. As a student goes in higher standards, languages are given less importance and focus is on specialised subjects. This leads to professionals who are not able to communicate properly and are only able to use jargons of their specific field.

  3. 1) Mothers from childhood itself will talk in English with their children.' don't go there baby' , 'baby eat this'...all this leads to children knowing only English and is unaware of other languages of the society. They can't speak properly in their own mother tongue. Thus creating a language less society

    1. Due to this children are disliking their native places as they don't understand their regional language. This keeps them away from society.

    2. Yes very true .Even all the students are facing the main problems when it comes to write exams . Most of the time we use all kind of shortfroms that we used in our daily SMS and messages.
      For eg-:- 1)"V"- "we"
      2)"u"-"you" etc.

  9. 1. As English is the globally accepted language and is given a lot of importance, we as a society and schools have adopted the use of English for our daily communication and as an instructional language. Even the playschools have adopted English as their instructional language and teach the children in English. This makes a country like Indian that has so many language a language less society. Though the three language policy have been introduced to preserve and give importance to the languages of all the states and regions, we are not sure if all the schools are following it or not as the policy is not a mandatory one.

  11. 1. It is impacting our local mother tongue language, all focus and exposure is been given to only one particular language hence it is actually creating a language less society.

  12. 2. As the world is so competitive, most of the people want to pursue a career that has more demand in the market. There is a lot of demand of engineers, doctors, etc. and due to which there is a good amount of awareness and job opportunities created in the filed of science, technology, medicines, etc. Not everyone are aware of the various career options available in the field of language which is why there is no much attention given to language education.

    1. That is why it is said that so- called engineers and doctors might have theoretical knowledge but then they lack communicating properly. Its said that when the doctor communicates and speaks well with his/ her patient half of the problem is solved there itself as the patient feels relieved but then if doctors lack their basics in language and communication this particular point would be a drawback.

  13. 3. There has been a drastic change in the way people communicate nowadays. People don't have much time to write down the complete spellings which is hindering our basuc grammar, punctuation and offcourse the beauty of the language. Our written language may end up as a series of emoticons and everchanging abbreviations. Ex : BTW - By The Way and TTYL - Talk To You Later. Texting also popularized the practice of replacing entire words with single characters so ‘are’ became ‘r,’ and ‘why’ became ‘y
Also, this habit is getting so addictive that students at times use such abbreviations also in their exams accidentally.
