Explain the perspectives of assessment. Substantiate with two examples

  1. The first is assesment for learning which helps the teacher to know what the students have understood.. It consists of formative assessment. So this type of assessment is throughout the learning process to make sure learning has taken place.

      This perspective serves to improve, control and check on a student’s learning process, or the student’s and teacher’s activities to achieve a certain objective.

  2. The second is assessment as learning where through assessments the students gain a perspective of how much they know and enable them to make adjustments to increase and emprove their learning and be responsible for their own learning.

    1. It involves both the types of assessment: Formative and Summative. As it helps students to monitor their learning and make changes to achieve their educational goals.

    2. At a certain point in time, a conclusive assessment sums up the knowledge and skills that a student has acquired. Its main purpose is to inform, for example, the student or parents about the student’s level of performance.

  3. The third assessment of learning that is used to check were the task had properly completed by the students report cards of the students where the students needs the progress the child is understanding the activity or not after that communicate with the parents of their achivments.

  7. Assessment for learning encourages and motivates the students. Assessment for learning is a systematic process for the students and teachers. A test is a special form of Assessment.
    The followings are the teachers points of view when become a teacher
    1 In the classroom the teacher always encourages and motivates the students to do proper activities in the classroom.
    2 Teacher should develop the skills.
    3 In Classroom transactional which is included in practice like content, environment, assessment,style etc.

  8. All the three types are indirectly applied at every point of learning knowingly or unknowingly. This helps smooth flowing of studing with interest and creativity.
